We are a friendly community of people in Julia Creek - spanning all ages and walks of life - who have been transformed by God’s grace and want to help others know the incredible hope that we can have through his Son Jesus Christ.

Our mission is simple: to share the good news of Jesus, faithfully teach the Bible, build strong relationships and bring God's love to our community.

Whether you’re new to the area, just passing through or looking for a place to grow in your faith, we’d love to welcome you at our monthly Sunday service.

Our services have a contemporary, family-friendly format, including a special interactive kids' spot with teaching and singing. We also have a mixture of contemporary and traditional Christian songs and hymns, in addition to prayers and a Bible-based sermon.

Led by Pastor Simon Owen (Cloncurry), St Barnabas Anglican Church is connected to the congregation at St Andrew's Church in Cloncurry and operates under the oversight of the North Queensland Anglican Diocese. The ministry is supported by Bush Church Aid Australia which seeks to bring the life-changing gospel message of Jesus to rural, regional and remote Australia.
